"We arrived at this property to find that major building works were taking place directly adjacent to the property (property is located in a very narrow road). The building works were well established and had been ongoing prior to our arrival. Whilst staying there, building work started before 8am and on one day a large cement mixing HGV blocked access to the property and sat with its engine running for an hour from 8-9am, which was loud enough to be heard within the property. Angle grinding / metal cutting and loud building noise was experienced on most days and prevented use of the garden. Full photographic and video evidence was provided but owner refused to accept any liability. The reviews of this property are also exaggerated and this is at best an average holiday rental location, which is tired and shabby."
