The Granary is a light and spacious barn conversion, situated in the hamlet of Goveton, near the estuary town of Kingsbridge. The accommodation has three bedrooms in total (two doubles and a bunk room), all of which are en suite, sleeping six guests. Set in a rural location, and within close proximity to the nearby towns of Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth, nearby beaches and South West Coast Path, The Granary is ideal for a family or several couples looking for a country bolthole with quick and easy access to the surrounding South Devon coast and countryside. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Set in a tranquil rural location only eight miles from the nautical town of Salcombe and only two miles from Kingsbridge, Goveton is a characterful green village surrounded by acres of farmland and has been relatively untouched by urban development. With miles of delightful walks for energetic dog owners and sweeping country lanes, Goveton is an idyllic base for those whom enjoy getting out and about in the fresh air and want to explore the beautiful South Hams.

"Great barn conversion in a courtyard setting, very cleverly designed and beautifully furnished. Very spacious and well equipped. Peaceful setting, only sounds from the birds and the sheep! Ideal central position for visiting Salcombe, Dartmouth etc. My only slight reservation would be the very narrow lanes you have to drive down to get to this property. The lanes are pretty quiet, we didn't meet too much traffic but did get into a sticky situation with a taxi minibus. But that's the price you have to pay for such a tranquil and rural setting."
