The View is a terraced house situated on the Isle of Portland near to the town of Weymouth in Dorset and benefits from fantastic scenery along Chesil beach towards Lyme Bay and dramatic West cliffs of the Isle of Portland. The house can sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms, two twin single and one king-size double as well as a ground floor bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC and ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. The rest of the house is made up of an open plan first floor living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area and a utility room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car and a small patio area, stone seating and table The View would suit a family or group of friends looking for a holiday home close to the beach.

Gas central heating, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for one car plus roadside parking is possible for further car across the parking space. Small patio area, stone seating and table. Sorry, no pets and no smoking, no vaping. Shop 10 min, pub 5 min. Beach 10 min.

"Loved the high spec property. From the picture window there were stunning views! The location was great for Weymouth beach, Bennetts water gardens, the Jailhouse Cafe, Portland light house and more. Also had a great boat trip from Weymouth followed by eating at Les Enfants Terrible on the marina. The food at the Lobster Pot was as good as described by reviews. The stoney beach was a short walk down a steep hill close to the house. So many people fishing! I suggest you ask for a second key if you intend to do early morning runs or come in late at night (while the others of your group sleep) as you either end up locked into the property or the door is left unlocked (no letterbox)! One shock was having a guest slow worm appear in the house - thinking it was a snake! Useful to know - only 4 dining chairs for a 6 people accomodation."
