Tramway Cottage

"We stayed in the cottage for a week it was home from home, it even had a TV in the double bedroom which is a big plus as my partner is a tv addict. It has 2 bedrooms the other being a twin on the top floor. The house is done out with all mod cons. The views down to the promenade from the front are fantastic and from the back balcony you can see over the golf course to the sea at the other side. It is however a very steep hill so you do need a strong handbrake to park outside, we parked just down the road on a level part. The walking from there is fantastic but unfortunately my sketchers weren't up to the job and my first walk round the Orme was my last as the blisters were too painful. It is just 5 mins to walk up from the cottage to the tram and the summit, we didn't catch the tram down but we certainly caught it back up once, that hill sure is steep when you've just come out of the pub at the bottom behind the tram shed. I would definitely recommend the cottage it's quiet and relaxing at the end of a busy day."
