Buckie is a burgh town on the Moray Firth coast of Scotland. The origin of the name of the town has caused some debate and although the folk etymology is that Buckie is named after a seashell. Buckie is well served by golf courses with the eastern and western edges of the community ending in 18 holes.

"We have just had an amazing 3 nights at Sefton House which was booked as a family break for my Dad's birthday. The accommodation is immaculate with large rooms and a great location. Two of our party have mobility issues so having a double room with ensuite including walk in shower on the ground floor was a big plus for us. There was even a fully enclosed large garden for the dog (labrador). I would just be cautious and not leave them unattended if you have a small dog as there is a space under the fence to the road outside that they could potentially squeeze under. As well as all the crockery and utensils you would expect, there is also hand-wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, anti bacterial spray etc all provided. It's in a lovely location and most of the trips we had planned were within a 30 min drive. We visited Morayvia, went on a North 58 boat trip, the Moray Motor Museum and more. We even had a small birthday party for my Dad. Nothing rowdy, just a spot of karaoke, but being a detached property meant we wouldn't disturb any neighbours. The owners of the property have done an amazing job renovating the house and I would highly recommend it. I would love to return one day."
