Overview
This excellent holiday cottage is based in Somerford Keynes, Gloucestershire and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Three Bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite with shower, WC and washbasin, 1 x family room with double and 1 x bunk beds Two Bathrooms : 1 x Bathroom with WC and washbasin, 1 x bathroom with shower over bath, WC and washbasin (please note another bunk is also available at the cottage, which means you can sleep up to 8) Open plan Living / Dining / Kitchen area with views and french doors to rear area. Dining table comfortably seating 8. Large corner sofa with ample space for 8 people. Woodburning stove, TV and DVD. Kitchen with modern appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric hob and oven, separate fridge and freezer plus microwave, iron and ironing board. Outside To the rear of the property (south facing) you have a good sized garden, with seating area. A shallow stream runs through the garden with a bridge to a large grassed area giving lots of space.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Somerford Keynes, Gloucestershire is a short drive away from Ashton Keynes which is positioned on the banks of the River Thames. Lying within the Cotswold Water Park and split by the River Thames, which has many channels here, centred 6.5 miles from its source at Thames Head. Within the village of Ashton Keynes there is a pub named the White Hart Inn, as well as a village shop. Formerly known as Aesctun in 800 AD, Ashton Keynes appeared in the Domesday Book, with ten variants of the name being recorded over the past 800 years. The local school is a voluntary controlled school. Parts of the school building date back to 1870.
