It boasts two zip-and-link double bedrooms (can be twins or doubles or request), sleeping four guests in total. The interior oozes character and also comes with a bathroom, kitchen/diner and sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside is a lawned garden at the front with views of the reservoir and off-road parking for two cars. Boshaw Cottage is a superb holiday home in a beautiful region of West Yorkshire.

Off-road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden at front with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.7 miles, pub 3 mins walk.

This village rests on the fringes of the Peak District National Park, in West Yorkshire. It boasts a school, football club, sailing club and public house the Algy Arms and is also home to the Holme Styes Reservoir. Holmfirth is situated in the heart of the Holme Valley and is famous for being the setting of The Last of The Summer Wine TV series! The Upper Derwent Valley is only a short scenic drive away, with the Howden Reservoir and Derwent Reservoir to explore, whilst the Peak District offers many outdoor activities such as walking and cycling.

"A really well appointed cottage with fine views over the surrounding hills.All rooms were spotlessly clean and beds very comfy! From Hade edge it is about a 30 min walk into Holmfirth either along the main road or the footpath which begins directly behind the cottage.There are plenty of scenic walks and the owner has provided laminated local footpath maps which were very handy.Unfortunately the only pub in Hade Edge was closed due to refurb at the time of our visit,due to open later in the season.There are however plenty of great pubs and eateries in Holmfirth.Also,a few minutes walk down the main road in Hade Edge is an excellent country store/butcher and coffee shop.All in all a great little place."
