"We stayed here in July and although we had a wonderful time in the cottage there was a grievance. We believed from the written information that there was a toilet in each bathroom. On reading someones' review of the cottage they stated that there was only ONE. As our holiday started soon after reading this it was too late to change our booking. We pointed our grievance out to the owner, Ben, who said he would be in touch with Sykes and get the description amended. The previous persons review has since been taken off for viewing. We are disappointed that this description has not been rectified. But as I say we did enjoy the cottage. It was spotless and Ben was very nice."

"The accommodation is spacious and generous - lots of seats! - and the interior design is traditional but also stylish, no musty antiques or dubious cushions! The two showers were both strong, and the hot water never ran out. Great wifi too - I caught up on lots of iPlayer! The cottage was really well stocked: lots of plates, glasses, cutlery etc, so we didn't have to keep washing up (I've stayed in cottages with only 4 of everything - such a pain!). It was spotlessly clean - I never wear shoes indoors, and I didn't pick up a speck of dirt on my socks. There's an Aga, which I loved: amazing for baked potatoes, and drying damp shoes at the end of a soggy Welsh walk. Steve and Lisa gave us the warmest of welcomes, and had lots of good ideas for walks nearby and further afield. We had a lovely holiday in a lovely cottage: I'd rebook Eyton Cottage without a second thought."
