Fuel and power inc. in rent. 8 acres of beautiful gardens, which are part of the National Garden Scheme. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Eight acres of landscaped gardens. Private enclosed garden for exclusive use of The Coach House. Ample off road parking. One well-behaved dog welcome. The property will offer dog bowls, bags, area for washing dogs outside. Sorry, no smoking. Walking distance to the beach and coastal path. 1.5 miles to Polruan which offers a Post Office, Shops, Pubs, General Store, Tea Rooms and the passenger Ferry to Fowey. 2 miles to Fowey. Note: There is a pond in the cottage garden. Note: Children, including infants, are not accepted at this property.

"We have stayed in some beautiful places but this was simply one of the best. Beautiful interior and equipped to perfection. Roger was the perfect landlord- available when we wanted advice on the best restaurants etc but left us to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful part of Cornwall. We had great weather and most days stayed in and around the beautiful grounds of Pendower House which has an historic and stunning garden. Our dog Barney loved his morning runs across the meadows that are part of the property and we had a lovely private bit of garden to ourselves.The nicest part was arriving after a long journey and being greeted by a lovely welcome box which included strawberries clotted cream and a freshly baked cake as well as the basic of tea coffee sugar and milk. There were also fresh flowers from the garden. We want to come back next spring . We can only assume the first reviewer picked the wrong week as we certainly had a lot of rest! For self catering accommodation this certainly takes some beating."
