Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Permit parking on streets nearby. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minute walk. Please note: property is up two flights of stairs with a landing between them. Note: The stairs may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. Note: The entrance to the property it to the rear not the front.

This fishing port sits within the North York Moors National Park and is at the mouth of the River Esk. Boasting a wealth of amenities, excellent activities, a stunning abbey and a beach, it is a fine base for a holiday. Close by, superb walking and cycling can be enjoying throughout the North York Moors, while other popular tourist spots nearby include Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough and Pickering.

"Wonderful Whitby weekend - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Chimneys. We received a lovely warm welcome, with much thought and care put in by owners Sarah and Graham. The views, especially from the lounge window, were amazing and stretched right across to the Abbey - you can see how the property got its name. All the bedrooms had been done beautifully, the kitchen well equipt and kitted out - we wanted for nothing. I'd return in a heartbeat. Thank you Graham and Sarah for a lovely stay. Hope to visit again soon."
"Just returned. There where several safety issues, windows could open fully, no marked fire door, one smoke alarm. The property was advertised with washing machine,tumble drier and microwave there was none of these. Great location but requires a lot of improvement."
