Orchard Cottage is a detached, 16th century, Grade II listed house in the village of Stoke near the bigger Devon village of Hartland. The house sleeps ten people in five bedrooms: a twin and a double downstairs with two shower rooms and a family room, a double and a single upstairs with a family bathroom. On the ground floor are two sitting rooms, one with wood burning stove and dining area, and a kitchen with covered access to pool via a lockable door. Outside are a splendid indoor swimming pool, a games room and an enclosed garden with barbecue. Just two miles from the attractive cliff top village of Hartland, Orchard Cottage is a comfortable house for a wonderful family holiday in Devon. "Great cottage for 3 generation family holiday. Spacious cottage with ideal layout so that people not on top of each other. Indoor pool and games room enjoyed by all. Plenty to do / explore in area. Welcome basket with treats was a nice touch as was recommendation for Sunday lunch. Cottage clean and tidy with everything needed for comfortable break."
"Fantastic cottage, pictures do not do it justice. Very well equipped. Pool and games room was well used and enjoyed by all the family. Visiting Peacocks in the garden were an added bonus and the views over open country side were great. A really peaceful spot so easy to relax and unwind. Hartland Quay a lovely place with stunning sunsets. Hartland village 2 shops selling everything you need and very friendly. Great food served in the local pubs. Were made to feel welcome everywhere we went. Thoroughly recommended."
