The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, two double, one with en suite shower room, and a twin, plus family bathroom. On the ground floor is a sitting room with open fire and dining area, and a kitchen. Outside are terraced lawns around the cottage and a big enclosed garden opposite with furniture and a stream. A private path leads you to the pebbly beach, 150 yards from the cottage. Just two miles from pretty Porlock, Milbanke is a smashing cottage for a relaxing Somerset break. Somerset offers 3 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmer's market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.

Pub less than 1 mile from property. Note: Dogs permitted in the hall and kitchen only. Note: This property has a private water supply which is tested regularly.

Porlock is a quaint village, popular with tourists due its character, proximity to the lovely North Somerset coastline and situation within the Exmoor National Park. There are plenty of little gift shops along with pubs, cafes and restaurants to be found and only two miles away, the picturesque harbour of Porlock Weir offers wonderful views across the Bristol Channel

"We stayed here with a group of friends our annual Somerset break. We knew of Porlock Weir but didn't know of this hidden Gem! The house was well equipped but not cluttered, perfect for relaxing in or recovering from a days exploring! They even had a dogs bowl, dogs toys, chairs and beach games all for your use. Waking up each morning to a view across the garden to the sea, just beautiful. Highly recommend taking the short stroll to the beach (make sure you have sturdy soled shoes ie trainers) to see the sunset, beach is often deserted and makes a lovely walk around to Porlock Weir. There is the long way all along the beach or the short way, along the beach and then the path. Highly recommend the bottom ship great atmosphere in the evenings. A Gin&Tonic at the Millers also worth looking at, and if you have a group of you Cinema night at The Millers also worth a visit. The caretaker of the property lives next door and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, the perfect balance between there if you need her but not intrusive. Have stayed in many holiday cottages in the UK but to us this was spot on. We cant wait to come back next year!"
