This smart and spacious 5* cottage close to Chudleigh, has superb long views and can sleep six people in two bedrooms. Over two floors. Two ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en suite bathroom, 1x family room with king-size double and twin beds, en suite bathroom and glazed doors to courtyard. First floor living area, sitting room with big sofas and wood burning stove, kitchen with dining area and glazed door to rear garden.
The Barn is an exceptionally smart, 5* cottage with superb views near the friendly Devon town of Chudleigh. The barn sleeps six people in two ground floor bedrooms, a king-size double with an en suite bathroom and a family room with a king-size and twin beds and en suite shower room. The first floor living area is huge, with big sofas and a wood burning stove and a bright kitchen and dining area. Outside you have your own enclosed outdoor space with tables, chairs, barbecue and parking for three cars. Close to moors, sea and city, The Barn is an ideal cottage for a perfect Devon break. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request, Off road parking for three cars. Enclosed garden with barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. The Teign Valley is a dramatically steep wooded valley to the Eastern flank of Dartmoor National Park between the villages of Dunsford in the North and Chudleigh to the South. The villages of Christow, Lower and Higher Ashton, Dunsford and Hennock are peaceful locations for holidays with beautiful scenery all around with hills, fields, rivers and stunning thatched cottages.

"We just spent a week there with our two children. It's a stunning converted barn with all mods and cons. Chudleigh village is only a short drive and has a small co-op and other shops. Great views at a peaceful location but with easy access to A38 that can take you to South coast and the gorgeous Dartmoor National park. Only 10' from Exeter as well and there is so much to do around there. But even if you decide to stay in it's such a lovely cosy space where you can relax by the fire. Very friendly owners who live next door and will attend to every need. On arrival we found flowers, blueberries cake and a hamper of goodies waiting for us. We will definitely go back and highly recommended."
"We are currently staying at The Barn while our own home is being renovated and we like it so much we have just extended our stay. We chose it because of the proximity to home, and we needed access to schools etc at the start of the new school year, but that aside, as a holiday let, it is exactly what we would have chosen further afield. The house is split- level to take in the wonderful views. It is superbly fitted out, and well decorated with lovely homely touches. The Kitchen is the hub of the home and it has everything you could need to cater for all events. Washer and Dryer were very important for us, and we have both, plus private garden space and shared access to the driveway. Horses at the end of your drive to gaze at, toads and squirrels to watch. It truly is a delight, and has helped alleviate the stress of a big DIY Project as some place to come back to and relax in calm. Delightful owners in Vanessa and Malcolm who have made our stay fuss free yet friendly. I shall be recommending it for use by guests at our wedding next year."
