This spacious converted barn is in countryside on the edge of the Dartmoor village of Manaton and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x king size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and basin. Upstairs open-plan living/dining/kitchen with wood burning stove. Downstairs hall.
The Water Barn is a roomy cottage converted from a Devon barn in the Dartmoor village of Manaton. The cottage sleeps four people in a double bedroom and twin bedroom with family bathroom. On the top floor is an open-plan living/dining/kitchen. Outside is a beautiful natural garden with furniture and barbecue and off road parking for two cars. Woodland and moorland walks from the door and 400 yards to a pub. The Water Barn is a peaceful retreat for exploring the Dartmoor National Park Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Lustleigh is a picture postcard village set on the deep wooded slopes of eastern Dartmoor and within Dartmoor National Park. With a pretty church, village shop and excellent pub along with lots of thatch cottages you can see why Lustleigh made it to the Telegraph's top villages.

"We stayed for a week beginning of may ..wow ! Beautiful converted barn spacious enclosed garden for our dog to roam ..the smell of a homemade cake on arrival was very welcoming , also woods right on the doorstep and pub just 5 mins walk away can't wait to go back ! Also full sky tv movies sports etc which was added bonus ..this place really does have it all"
"This barn has been renovated to a great standard and is extremely comfortable; the owners have thought of everything you might possibly need! The location is amazing and you could stay a week here without going out in your car - we didn't touch ours till day 5! Walks from the cottage are endless and, since most of them are through the woods, very peaceful. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the sound of the water from the wheel is hypnotic and soothing; we left the windows open all the time just to hear it! The owner is friendly and helpful and the village itself has a great pub and a pretty church. All in all, this was the best week we've had in a long time and I'm only sorry to be leaving such a good review as I know that it'll mean the cottage will probably be booked when we want to return..."
