Tu Hwnt i'r Afon is a beautiful stone-built cottage situated in the small town of Bethesda near Bangor. It has three bedrooms, sleeping up to five people, a shower room, kitchen and sitting/dining room with delightful contemporary furnishings. The third bedroom is up in the crog loft which has an impressive Velux skylight. Outside is a fabulous garden with plenty of space for the kids to play outdoors and lovely sitting area for a spot of alfresco dining. Tu Hwnt i'r Afon is in a fantastic location with access to woodland walks of Snowdonia straight from the back garden, a splendid property, perfect for family and friends. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

A generous start pack is provided for wood burning stove. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. External socket in parking area for overnight charge of an electric vehicle. Garden with lawn and patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk. Note: Steep steps to croft loft and low ceiling within.

"Lovely pre-Christmas break to Bethesda, Snowdonia Gwynedd.North wales.The owners of the cottage have provided everything you need for a short or long break in the cottage and more ! lots of loving care and attention paid for guests to enjoy their stay here. The owners of the cottage are local to the area and I was very interested in the history of the cottage and the surrounding area which was kindly provide in an information sheet and a book case full of books and leaflets of local places to visit. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would, as the cottage is outstanding and we took our dog along for the trip also and really again nice touches in the welcome pack he had doggie treats and felt very much at home with a safe garden to run in. Would we return again and recommended to friends and family ? Yes for us a summer visit to enjoy more of this lovely cottage and area! Thats if it's not booked up and yes it is really that good."
"This a beautiful and very tastefully furnished cottage in a wonderful location for exploring North Wales. Walks start from the house or you are in the Snowdonia National Park in 10 minutes. Beaches and castles some 30 minutes drive. Wood burning stove makes for cosy evenings and Loraine is a wonderful host witb lots of ideas for days out."
