The open plan living area has a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside is use of a communal courtyard with furniture and off road parking for 2 cars. With the whole of the North York Moors on the doorstep, and easy access to coastal resorts and market towns, Richmond Cottage makes a very welcoming holiday home for couples or a small family, throughout the year. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The town of Malton has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers' markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent country for walkers and cyclists.

"Stayed a week in this cottage with our young granddaughter and the hosts even took the time to let her meet their animals and feed their Shetland pony, which she still talks about now! In all the property is clean, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is perfect for visits to Malton, York, Pickering, Flamingo Land and Whitby, we visited all with ease. Set in a stunning location we would highly recommend Richmond Cottage and look forward to returning ourselves."
