A fantastic barn conversion that benefits from having wi-fi and located on a working farm, situated in Wigton a short drive from Keswick and Carlisle in the Lake District and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite bath, shower above the bath, basin and WC. 1 x twin (zip/link, can be a king-size double on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC. 1 x family room with 1 twin room and 1 bunk with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with woodburning stove. Ground floor cloakroom with hand basin and WC.
Robyn Cottage is a lovely barn conversion, ideal for an exploration of everything that north Cumbria has to offer. The cottage sleeps six in comfort and style, with en-suites for all three bedrooms. All bedrooms (double, zip link twin/double and bunk beds suitable for adults) feature original beams and lovely views of the farm and open countryside beyond. Downstairs, the living area is spacious and open plan, with comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, there's a private patio with garden furniture and off road parking for 2 cars. Set in a beautiful and tranquil location, yet just 15 minutes from Carlisle and 25 minutes from Keswick, Robyn Cottage is the ideal base for a family holiday exploring this spellbinding region, whatever the time of year. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Oil fired central heating plus wood burning stove. Electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, Freeview TV, DVD, CD/MP3 player. Oil and electricity included in the rent, bed linen and towels provided. Cot and highchair available. Private patio with garden furniture. Off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no dogs and no smoking. Shops, bars and restaurants at Wigton 5 minutes.

A traditional Cumbrian market town with a charter granted in 1262, which still holds a market each Friday in the covered market hall, along with an with an open air car boot sale. Wigton is a popular centre for shopping, pubs and restaurants, and also boasts a theatre, bowls, swimming, tennis and other sports.

"A very well kept and welcoming cottage. The owner had left fresh scones and butter for us on arrival with a supply of tea and coffee. A very spacious and homely cottage with tonnes of character from the beams and styling of the property. With each room having an en suite and an additional toilet downstairs, it's great for the kids and saves on the arguments in a morning! Local shop close by, with a town less than 5 minutes away with some lovely pubs and take-aways. Stayed here with partner and 3 kids, and we all had a lovely time here, and were sad to leave. next time we visit this part of the Lakes we wouldnt hesitate to come back here. Future addition of a hot tub would make this place perfect."
