This two bedroomed first floor apartment sleeping four is located in the village of Thornthwaite near Keswick. First floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin(1 standard bed and 1 is 3ft wide & 5ft 6 long). family bathroom with bath tub, overhead shower, wash basin and toilet. Living/dining room. Kitchen.
The Bothy at Thornthwaite Hall is ideally situated for exploring the Lake District. 1st-floor apartment with spectacular mountain views. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin with one adult and one child's single 5ft 6" bed plus a family bathroom with shower over bath The kitchen is well equipped and the living/dining room is cosy. The shared grounds with seating areas are a particular feature of The Bothy and there's ample off road parking. An ideal holiday home for couples or families. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Gas central heating. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, TV, DVD, maps and suggestions for walks. Wifi. Gas and electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen provided. Towels are NOT provided. Travel cot available. Off road parking. Shared enclosed gardens with lawns and seating areas. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub 20 mins walk, Shop 2 minutes drive. Classic Lakeland walks 1 minute. Mountain biking at Keswick 5 minutes drive.

"My sister and I loved the northern Lake District and couldn't have found a more lovely place to stay than The Bothy. The views are beautiful, the heating (which we needed when we stayed!) was brilliant, everything we needed was there. A longer stay than our 4 nights would have been nice! Car parking was easy and well marked. Surprised and pleased to find Dvds and books galore. Nicely maintained. Only downside was an unpleasant smell of mould in the hallway and staircase but we didn't notice it in the apartment itself. Also, the kettle leaked, but apart from that, we would want to stay there again. Anyone who has a car ... go there!"
