This detached cottage is located near to the Welsh village of Llanbister and can sleep seven people in three bedrooms. All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double with TV (zip/link, can be twin on request) and en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x double, 1 x family room with 1 double and 1 single. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with woodburner. Separate room with hot tub.
Vrongoch Cottage is a detached cottage on a working farm near to the village of Llanbister in Mid Wales. The cottage sleeps seven people and has two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite) and a family room with a double and a single bed, as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture, swings, as well as a hot tub in a separate room. Set on a 600 acre working farm, Vrongoch Cottage is a superb cottage for discovering the stunning Welsh countryside. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Llanbister is a village which nestles in the Powys countryside between the market towns of Llandrindod Wells and Newtown, as well as being just a short distance from Herefordshire and Shropshire.

"Stayed here Friday to Monday it's literally in the middle of a farm hardly any properties around its perfect if you want peace and quiet(which we did). The owners have catered for everything you may need in the property and the hot tub has amazing views. There are no local shops around you will have to travel so take essentials with you but for me that's part of the charm. Didn't want to leave."
"Very disappointed with this cottage. Not up to a standard you would expect. We cleaned cutlery and crockery before using. The hot tub was just like sitting in a warm bath as the jets not working properly. The freezer had not been defrosted in a very long time and the cooker hood/extractor was dirty. One of the cushions on the sofa was stained and the leather sofa needed a good clean. Water is from a bore hole and needed to be boiled before drinking. It would have been nice to have at least a bottle of water and a pint of milk on arrival. You had to travel about a mile down the lane to the bins to take your rubbish. Many of the windows were condensated and the curtain rails at the bedroom windows were not long enough. Would not recommend this place. Lovely views, shame about the cottage."
"Booked for the weekend (Friday to Monday) for 6 adults, 1 minor and a dog. Was a little apprehensive and even concerned after reading the previous 1 star review. However there was nothing to fear. Superb location with what must be the best countryside view we have ever had from a cottage. Lovely quiet secluded rural location just the way we like it. Hot tub was great although I would agree that a new cover is required but having said that we don't sit on the cover we sit in the hot tub - which was clean, lovely and hot at all times. We were lucky with the weather so I cannot comment on the heating. I walked to the collection point with the general waste on the last day. It took me 4 minutes 30 seconds (I used my stopwatch) to walk there from the cottage so either I am a lot fitter than I thought or its a lot closer than 1.5 miles away!!! In short we all agreed we had a fabulous time and I would have no concerns in booking again."
"Breathtaking views with only one dwelling in the foreground, on a clear day penyfan in the Brecon Beacons can be seen! Lovely cottage with all the essentials for a self catering holiday. We visited the Fforest Inn between crossgates and Kington - highly recommend for food! Also visited the Elan Valley damns which are 100% a must do for anyone travelling in the direction, each visit is different. Views from hot tub were great, we had bottled water but understand you can boil the kettle to allow you to drink the water when cool. Enclosed garden - great for the dogs to have a run around."
