This converted barn is in the village of Wookey, it can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Ground Floor: Lounge. Kitchen/Diner. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin.
The quiet village of Wookey at the foot of the Mendip Hills is home to The Old Cider Barn. There is much to see and do in this picturesque region, from stunning limestone gorges and caves to the wetlands of the Somerset Levels and the spectacular northern coastline. A perfect base for exploring this diverse area, The Old Cider has been well designed and finished to a high standard, This charming cottage is light and spacious throughout with wooden floors and a handsome bespoke staircase. A selection of paintings by local artists adds to the ambience of the cottage which comprises a large lounge, well equipped kitchen/diner, two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Enjoy a BBQ in the small courtyard garden, or if you don't feel like cooking the cosy, child-friendly 16th century Ring O' Bells pub is just a short walk from the cottage, and serves home cooked meals. Somerset offers 3 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmer's' market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.
