Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 4 mins walk.

"We stayed September'18 through Sykes, & my feedback was never uploaded. Lovely house, lovely big kitchen/diner, great for 2 big dog beds. Wish all the cottages we stay in were this big. Had a few wine/scrabble days with the radio playing 80's tunes. Unfortunately the weather was against us,1 day had an actual storm & was completely housebound, netflix and the ice cream shop on the corner came in handy. I knew about there being no side gate for the dogs and all the other guests put the bins at the side of the house to block the path. The house is in a cul-de-sac with a primary school, so avoid going out for the day and coming back at school times, you wont get your car out, or have a parking space when you get back. Go out after 9am and come back after 3pm, you are fine. The local pub prince of wales, is friendly & dog friendly. Meals reasonable, we got friendly with Jackie, who now runs her own pub in Phwelli and keeps trying to get us to go. We didn't rate the other pub Bryn Hir Arms, (ignorant welsh locals). We didn't experience 'The Castle' pub as they were closed for a weeks holiday when we arrived. Beach not great at Criccieth. Abersoch is a better beach, lovely coves = suntrap. Beware if you try the coastal walk at Morfa Nefyn, dont get lost and end up in a cow field, and check the weather!!! Best place to visit was Llanberis, beautiful and tranquil mountain lake, takes 3 hrs to walk all way round apparently. Great Chinese at Porthmadog, park on Tesco's car park and you can fill up on wine too."
