Fern Cottage is a quirky and unique hideaway in a fabulous location for exploring countryside and fascinating towns and villages. Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Electric heating, woodburning stove. Electric AGA range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books and games. Roadside parking opposite the property on a first come, first served basis. Rear enclosed patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minute walk. Note: Children aged 12 years and over only. Note: There are steep stairs in the property, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Some doorways have low headheight, care to be taken. Note: Bed linen and Towels provided

"Just returned from a fantastic time at Fern cottage. What a beautiful cottage it had a lovely homely atmosphere ,tasteful decor and quaint features . A lovely cottage garden which was great to relax in after a days sightseeing. The welcome basket was a nice touch .thank you ."
"The house is very well equiped and beautifully decorated with plenty of interesting period features including an inglenook fireplace that make it a real treat to stay in. When we arrived the property was very clean and well presented as well as being nice and warm (we stayed for a weekend in February). The small, pituresque town has plenty amenities. As well as shops there are two pubs, one serving food and the other historic parlour pub allows you to take in fish and chips from the great chippy next door. We also made use of the selection of walks and maps that are in the house although our following of routes had a bit to be desired. The walks take you out by either of the rivers and cater for the stroll, the hiker or those who 'freestyled'."
