The village of Coldingham is in between farmland above Coldingham Bay, on the Berwickshire coastline. With a fabulous beach and excellent surfing, the village also offers an array of local shops, pubs and restaurants. St. Abbs is one mile away and its Nature Reserve is renowned for its variety of birds and wealth of marine life. This area is ideal for exploring The Scottish Borders and Northumberland, with their notable coastlines and excellent walking.

"I usually get homesick after 2 or 3 days, but I didn't want to come home. The cottage was so comfy, with everything we needed. It was warm and cosy. The area around was fantastic. We walked through the woodlands and along the coastal paths. The dogs loved it too. I highly recommend Dove Cottage."

"We had a wonderful week at Dove cottage, the cottage is beautiful, and has lots of lovely little touches, the garden at night is lit up with fairy lights and it's very peaceful. Our dogs loved it and we all didn't want to come home. There were only 2 little problems/suggestions - we missed having a washing machine and on out 1st day we were told we were walking in someone's garden but we had no way of knowing that. (The lovely wooded area behind the cottage) but would still recommend."
