Overview
This modern cottage is in Pendra Loweth holiday village, near Falmouth and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Over two floors. Three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Cloakroom on ground floor with basin and WC. Kitchen. Open plan sitting room with dining area. Gym, tennis courts and plunge pool on site.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).

"We have had a pleasant stay in Falmouth. Nice surroundings and a lot of things to do and see. However, the property could use many improvments. The cleaning of the house was poor. On top of the kitchen cabinets and the light in the bathroom there was dust. Furthermore the dining table was sticking. There was mustiness in the bathroom and the carpet in the living room was dirty and smelled not fresh. Many lights in the house were out of order, like the mirror light in the bathroom, some of the bedroom lights and one lamp in the living room. The clock gave the right time only twice a day. The electrical installation is outdated and not safe. One day, after return from a nice walk, we would like to turn on the heaters in the living room. Unfortunately it appeared that the heaters had some kind of peak saving system, so we could not turn them on. Luckaly the oven worked and could provide some warmth. This is far from what we expect for our holiday! The exterior of the house is fine and the surroundings are fine, but the interior is old and dilapidated."
