The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, one double and one adult bunk. There is a shower room with shower, basin and WC. There is also a ground floor basin and WC. There is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there is a lawned garden. There is off road parking for two cars and two well behaved dogs are allowed. 2 Borthwen Cottages is a fantastic Dyffryn Ardudwy cottage from which to explore this beautiful coastline with its unique microclimate, any time of year. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Dyffryn Ardudwy nestles between The Rhinogs, part of the Snowdonia Mountains, and the North Wales coastline. The unusual positioning of this village results in it having its own mild climate, as well as offering good local shops and pubs. The surrounding area has an exciting array of wildlife and birds. The small town of Harlech is just 4 miles away.

"My son and I and two dogs had a lovely stay at the cottage .it was very clean and tidy and had everything you could possibly need.it is set in a very quiet lane and has a huge enclosed garden which was ideal for the dogs.it gives the feeling of being away from it all and yet just a two minute walk away is a very well stocked grocery shop with its own butchers , a petrol station opposite and a little further along a post office/gift shop and a takeaway.it is possible to walk to benar beach from there but it's quite a jaunt through woods and across a field and at the time we were there it was very waterlogged.but it would be a lovely walk in the summer months. There was a welcome basket on arrival with a bottle of wine, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and bara brith which was a lovely touch I highly recommend this cottage and hope to go there again in the future"
