LPG Central heating with further power from Woodburner. Woodburning stove and open fire. Gas oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, Sky TV, WIFI, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Large decked area with furniture and private wooden hot tub. Side and rear lawn with furniture. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub and shop 11 minute walk. Note: The staircase is open to one side, small children should take care. Note: Garden is not secured, but there are two ground anchors available for dog leads. Note: Shop and pub is 11 minute walk, however, there is no footpath - care should be taken if walking along the main road, traveling by car may be more advisable.

Invermoriston is situated just above the south end of Loch Ness, in the heart of the Great Glen. The village is famous for St. Columba's Well, and offers events like ceilidh nights in the village hall. The 73-mile long walking path, The Great Glen Way, passes through the village, and is just one of the many trails and walks awaiting visitors to this spot. Following the main road close to the village takes you to the Isle of Skye, or of course you could stay closer to home and do some monster-spotting, visit the ruins of the 16th century castle Urquhart, or enjoy the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre.The Caledonian Canal runs to Fort Augustus, offering lovely canalside walks. The perfect location for the whole family.

"The cottage has fantastic views over Loch Ness and the 5 acre woodland behind it , made the location perfect. Bedrooms are big and airy. Lounge cosy. The farmstyle kitchen is amazing - large yet cosy with the wood burner and the most spectacular views. The new deck proved to be a success giving the cottage a wonderful outside area to sit / barbeque!! Being able to pick up the key in the key box was also a plus, as we were not sure what time we would arrive. I just feel that the busy road should be mentioned in the description of the cottage should anyone think that it is more rural. Would love to visit again."
