This lovely property is situated in Longhorsley, Northumberland, and sleeps up to four people. All ground floor. One twin bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with two double sofa beds.
This Longhorsley cottage is part of a delightful, converted, stone-built, former schoolhouse adjoining the owner's home in the pretty village, ideally situated in the heart of the Northumberland countryside, just 14 miles south of Alnwick and 5 miles north of Morpeth. It has a twin bedroom, an en-suite shower room and the living accommodation is all open plan with a kitchen, dining area, a sitting area and a two double sofa beds. Outside there is off road parking, lockable bike storage and shared use of the owners' rear lawned garden with furniture, a barbecue and a Koi fish pond (with safety grill over). The Old School Room a great touring base. Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Longhorsley is a pretty, rural village in the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots and the coast and provides great access to a range of great walks and cycle routes. The village offers several pubs serving good food and a local store.

"Arrived earlier than planned but everything was ready for us including the very kind milk, bread, wine and cookies Everything was available to us and really was a "home from home" Spotlessly clean and tidy, warm and cosy with a real cottage feel to it Proper little "TARDIS" and so well planned out, hard to believe everything fitted in two rooms ! Every possible electrical appliance you could want including hair dryer Even had a hot water bottle !! Loved it all and a real gem, fully intend to stay here again on our next property search stay Cannot really praise it and it's owner's enough to justify our pleasure in staying here A very well done !!"
