The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is known to be the prettiest of the Lake District's villages. The village features charming scenic walks, quaint cobbled streets, plus welcoming and traditional pubs serving real ale and delicious food. There is also a Michelin Star awarded restaurant, L'Enclume, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding. Take advantage of beautiful, unspoilt countryside and head to quiet seaside retreat Grange-over-Sands, just 2 miles away. Windermere and its panoramic views is within a thirty minute drive. A superb holiday destination, at any time of year.

"This apartment is sumptuously furnished, it is cosy and comfortable with lovely bedding and towels, it is spotlessly clean with a smart little well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, the bathroom is small but has everything you need. It is right in the centre of the picturesque and buzzing little village of Cartmel with a good choice of pubs, eating places and shops it is also very convenient for a races weekend or country walks. We were very impressed with this apartment and will definitely be booking to stay again thank you"
