This is a lovely property situated four miles from the centre of the beautiful and historic city of York, sleeping two people in one bedroom. One king-size double (zip/link, can be a 2'6" twin on request). Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Utility. Conservatory.
Dragons' Den is a lovely property situated four miles from the beautiful and historic city of York. Sleeping two people, there is a king-size double bedroom which can be made into a twin on request. There is a stunning bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a small patio with furniture. Dragons' Den is a lovely retreat and a great base for exploring the fantastic Roman City of York. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview and Now TV, DVD, WiFi, selection of books. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Small patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 mins walk. Note: There is a room used by the owner for storage which is kept locked at all times.

The city of York needs no recommendation, for it teems with interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, museums (including the famous National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum), and the internationally-renowned Jorvik Viking Centre and its "time trip" experience.

"Just had a lovely week here seeing beautiful York and surrounding areas. Ideally located with a bus stop nearby or 5 minutes to the park and ride, also near the A64 Dragons Den is clean and well kept and very comfortable, with all you need for a self catering holiday, and larger than it looks in the pics. Would definitely recommend if wanting to visit the area and hope to return sometime"
"This property is amazing. The lounge area and the bed are both very comfortable. The bathrooms are excellent and the kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need or want. The whole property is spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. Very convenient for ether bur or Park and Ride to York. Highly recommended."
"Dragons Den is a lovely self catering annex to the owners house. Everything you need is provided and more! It has a luxury feel about it at a very reasonable price.There is plenty of parking space off the road, a lovely garden with patio chairs and table and local shops within walking distance. An excellent bus service stops a hundred yards up the road which will take you to York,Whitby,Leeds,Scarborough.Also handy for York race course. There are also some very good short walks within a short car drive eg. Bardsey a picturesque village about 15 miles from Dragons Den. Its worth a look around the church before you start a walk.We really enjoyed our stay at Dragons Den and will return."
