This semi-detached cottage is located in the Shropshire village of Coalbrookdale and can sleep seven people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with pull-out stacker bed, 1 x family room with 1 super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) and 1 single, 1 x ground floor single with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room with woodburning stove.
Brook Cottage is a semi-detached 19th century cottage in the Shropshire village of Coalbrookdale near to Ironbridge. The cottage sleeps six people and has a double bedroom, family bedroom and a single with an en-suite as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside is off road parking and a front patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Situated in the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, Brook Cottage is a delightful family holiday cottage all year round. A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed front patio and small lawn with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and cafe 1 min walk, pubs and restaurants 2 mins walk. Ironbridge 5 mins walk.

Coalbrookdale is a village set within the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge. This lovely village is close to the ten renowned museums which celebrate the history of Ironbridge World Heritage Site. The village is within a 5 minute walk to the centre of Ironbridge village which offers the world famous iron bridge, pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Within driving distance is the towns of Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow.

"Been to Brook Cottage for two years running. New owner this year, Beverly. She has added a lovely touch of colour to what was already a beautiful house. The beds are the most comfortable ones we have slept in. Kitchen and dining room very spacious and well kitted out. Brook cottage is just off the main Ironbridge rd so is quiet but so central. The bridge is just a short stroll away. Just across the rd is a well stocked Co-op supermarket. Many places to visit and a lot of them just a short drive away. Can recommend National Trust Attingham Park, the grounds are superb. A visit to Blist Hill Victorian town is a great day out for all the family and just 15mins away by car. We came back again this yr as we couldn't fit everything in one week. And Brook Cottage is a great place to come back to after a grand day out."
"A beautiful cottage in a great location - the parking space for two cars is fantastic as you are in Ironbridge and parking is not easy. The garden was a lovely aspect, and sitting on the patio each evening in the sunshine (we hit the hot week at the end of August) was divine. The quality of the furnishings was great, and the kitchen very well equipped. There were some nice complimentary toiletries, and we received a delicious bottle of wine on arrival. The only thing I would suggest for families or people staying in the winter months would be a TV package - I haven't been restricted to 5 channels for a long time! We were here in summer so out visiting the many beautiful places Shropshire has to offer, and walking to the great pubs with the dogs. However if it was a rainy day, or we were back early on a winter's evening we might want more of a choice. We will definitely book again sometime in the future."
"We stayed here for the first week in June and were delighted by the cottage. The new owner has taken a lot of care over the decor, and there was a lovely welcome basket of treats in the kitchen, and good quality toiletries in both bathrooms.The downstairs bedroom was ideal for a disabled person. The cottage is very comfortable, as are the beds and the garden is a real sun trap. There is private parking, and there is a co op just at the top of the road which is very well stocked. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a very comfortable cottage, very well equipped and in a lovely spot. If, like us, you are into museums, there are ten in the area, and we even managed a trip to Wales and Mount Snowdon. We will try and book again for next year!!"
