This semi-detached cottage is attached to the owner's home on the edge of Denstone near Alton Towers in Staffordshire and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x ground floor double. Ground floor bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with wood burner.

Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture. Greenacres Barn is a spacious property with many attractions available close by. The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio with furniture, logburner/chiminea BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 8 mins walk. Note: There are three steps to access the sitting room, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility

"Being the age that we are (my wife and I that is) we have seen a few holiday rentals over the years. Greenacres Barn has catapulted itself into our top 3. Superb accommodation, very well appointed and with every creature comfort you could possibly need. In this day and age Wi-Fi is a must and so often adverts for properties say "Wi-Fi throughout" and what that usually means is if you stand in the corner of a room and hold your laptop above your head you may get a "1 bar" signal. Not here though - there's excellent Wi-Fi coverage throughout. For those of you with pets the design of the place makes life so much more easier. There's a utility room off the main entrance where animals can be dried off and fed etc. The location is excellent with a farm shop, an eclectic village stores and pub nearby. The scenery is stunning with superb walks and views all round. Then there are the owners, providers of many treats that made our holiday very special - the cake was superb! A very friendly couple who have made their behaviour a model for others to follow."
