This log cabin is situated on the outskirts of Ugthorpe near Whitby, and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar and woodburner.

Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Ample off-road parking for six cars. Lawned garden with patio areas, furniture, hot tub, private sauna, BBQ and, as well as a decked terrace area with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 2 mins walk, shop 3 miles. Note: Outbuilding: storage for bicycles with two bicycles available and wash house with washing machine, dryer, full size freezer and a dog shower facility. Note: There is a pond near the property. Note: The maximum occupancy of the property is 6.

The village of Ugthorpe lies 9 miles from Whitby. There is a local village inn serving food, plus the seaside village of Sandsend is 6 miles away and Runswick Bay is 3 miles away, both of which provide sandy beaches. The market towns of Pickering and Hutton-le-Hole are definitely worthy of a visit.

"We stayed for a week 20th Jan onwards. The lodge was great , very clean and has everything you could ever need , sat in a quiet location but close enough to Whitby and sands end , shops just a 10 minute drive , with a local pub just a 1 mile walk or drive serving excellent food and has a great atmosphere , . If you would rather stay in then this lodge has a huge kitchen and dining area and all the utensils you need to rustle up a nice meal for the family . We especially enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after a day out walking on the beach with the dog . The lodge has an out building with a dog shower which is a very handy , lots of games etc for guests to use and the smart tvs in each room help for the quiet evenings . We would definitely book again in the future ."
