Westwick Edge is a beautiful, ground floor property, a wing of the owner's home set in the small Yorkshire village of Bishop Monkton, near Ripon. With one super king-size double bed (which can be unlinked to create twin beds) with en-suite shower room, the property can sleep two people. There's also a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside, there is off road parking for two two cars, lockable bike storage and bike cleaning area, along with a private decking area. Guests are also welcome to use the owner's large, enclosed garden. Westwick Edge Cottage is a lovely property, wonderfully completed to offer a luxury break in this delightful area. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! A picturesque village, set five miles south of the cathedral city of Ripon and just eight miles from the elegant spa town of Harrogate. Bishop Monkton is ideally situated for exploring all of Yorkshire's splendid surrounding countryside, with the Yorkshire Dales to the west and the North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast to the east.

"When my wife and I arrived at this property we were delighted at its situation...a quiet rural scene...just what we were looking for. As soon as we entered the property we knew that we had picked an amazing holiday home. There is a large lounge beautifully furnished, very comfortable with a very large TV set. The kitchen was very well kitted out containing everything that you would need. Our bedroom had an enormous bed, extremely comfortable. There is a lovely toilet, shower room adjoining the bedroom. The decor throughout the property was of a very high standard. Clean and very tastefully done. Outside there is a timber table and chairs for outdoor eating and drinking...we used this a lot. We were visited often by beautiful young cattle in an adjoining field. We really were delighted with this holiday home. Only downside is a bit picky on my part...there was a very poor mobile phone signal within the house...but I suppose that helped to give us a quieter stay."
"We stayed at Westwick Edge Cottage for a week in January for my birthday. It was impressive from the moment we left the road and drove up to the long drive to the property. The cottage itself was beautiful and had everything we could need. Really big bedroom with a massive comfy bed. The living room was comfy and really nicely decorated. We loved having the floor windows at one end of the room and often had sheep coming to visit us,looking through the windows. The surroundings were so tranquil, overlooking fields. We could not have found a nicer place to have a birthday week away. We would recommend the cottage and will definitely be visiting again"
"A wonderful week spent in this beautiful and stylish cottage. Every comfort has been provided here from the quality furnishings to the ultra soft and clean bed. The lounge, with its wood burner, TV and DVD has a fantastically comfy sofa, foot stool and lounge chairs. There are plenty of side tables so you don't even have to stretch to pick up your Gin and Tonic! The kitchen is very well equipped and the ensuite bathroom very modern and practical. We'd love to come back some time and would certainly recommend this tranquil cottage for a romantic getaway. "
"The cottage is absolutely gorgeous a real home from home. There was nothing we felt we needed at all. We would visit again in heartbeat. The village had a lovely gastro pub, the Masons Arms at which we had a lovely xmas eve meal. We visited when the weather in yorkshire was not great however the lovely owners provided daily updates, milk and bread and wood for the gorgeous wood burner. Do not hesitate to visit Westwick edge cottage it really is 5*"
