The Old Croft House is a lovely detached cottaged situated in the village of Staffin just seventeen miles from Portree on the Isle of Skye. The cottage can sleep five people in one double bedroom, one twin and one single together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden. The Old Croft House is a delightful cottage with stunning views in a lovely part of the country. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Occupying a coastal location on the northern half of the Isle of Skye, is the crofting village of Staffin. Overlooking Staffin Bay and Staffin Island, this tranquil village boasts something for everyone, with two restaurants, two shops, a part time opening Post Office, the Staffin Slipway for sailing enthusiasts, the only sandy beach in the north of Skye.

It was a good base from which to explore Skye and was close to the lovely bay, the Old Man of Storr and the Quirang. The house was very well equipped and beautifully furnished.
