Overview
This beautifully-appointed apartment is set over three floors and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms. Over three floors. Four bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 2 x double, 1 x lower ground floor double. Bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC. Lower ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Lower ground floor games room with table tennis and table football. Room with heated swimming pool, hydro-spa and yoga mats.
The Retreat is a beautifully-appointed apartment, set over three floors and can sleep eight people. There is a second floor super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), a second floor double bedroom, a double bedroom on the first floor, a ground floor double bedroom, a second floor bathroom, a ground floor shower room, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, a games room and a room with a swimming pool, hydro-spa and gym (gym available daily 9.30am to 11.30 am (also 3pm to 5pm on arrival day only). Pool cannot be used on day of departure). Outside there is off road parking for three cars and a patio with furniture. The Retreat is a wonderful, luxurious apartment for your holiday.

Underfloor heating with radiators in open plan living area. Electric oven and induction hob, fridges, chest freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Sky Sports, DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 3 cars. Note: Monitor with selection of DVD's. Small terrace with furniture for 2 people. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 8 mins walk. Note: Swimming pool, hydro-spa yoga mats available daily 10.30am to 3pm (also 3pm to 5pm on arrival day only). Pool cannot be used on day of departure. Note: Guests under the age of 18 must have adult supervision in the pool area. Note: No stag/hen or similar. Note: In-house spa treatments and catering available. The city of Lincoln offers numerous places to visit, making it an ideal holiday destination. Its impressive hill-top medieval cathedral not only boasts striking architecture but was also a film location for both The Da Vinci Code and coronation scenes in Young Victoria. Walk the walls of Lincoln Castle and climb the tower, taking in views over the city.

"The Retreat is a beautiful retreat and exceeded our expectations - it was quirky in layout and almost had 4 floors or 2 and 2 small floors - you will see what i mean when you book - it gave extra privacy from where our 2 year old was sleeping and quiet!! The house is beautifully furnished and the pool was stunning - the hot tub was not very hot but was still good. The whole pool area was spotless but was very slippy when wet! The table and chairs in the pool area allowed us to have face masks and read magazines whilst others were swimming. We travelled as a family of 3 generations and 8 of us with a 2 year old - the owners kindly left swimming aids, swimming nappies, travel cot, highchair, changing mat and some toys for the 2 year old - much appreciated. They left easter treats for all the children - thank you. There is a bathroom next to the kitchen which was useful and is not in the house description. It was useful to have 2 fridges and the washer and dryer and dishwasher were all used well! The bedrooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Personally i would have liked another tv in the house - 1 is quite limiting - maybe in the playroom as when cooking i didn't want the children under my feet and they were tired after long days and didnt muster energy for table tennis - a large tv would be good in this room. A comments book would have been good and please note dressing gowns and slippers were not included though were displayed in the house pictures. There were also no radio alarm clocks. Finally on a safety note - the windows in the upper bedrooms were low and had no safety catches and we had to ensure we kept them all closed on a sweltering heat wave week when we wanted them open. Alas there is no garden but we sat out on the lawn just adjacent to the front of the house. Will we be back probably, would we recommend definitely. Thank You Mr and Mrs Collins for all your kindnesses."
"My family and I stayed in the Retreat for a week. We had the most amazing week. The owners were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us to make us feel welcome. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were fantastic and the games room was a real bonus. The children had a fantastic time and my husband and I had a very relaxing week. The photographs don't do the Retreat justice. We will definitely be recommending the Retreat to our friends and family and would love to return."
