This beautiful, stone cottage next to the owners' home in the village of Parwich can sleep two people in one king-size double bedroom. Mostly ground floor. One mezzanine king-size double bedroom. Small shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
The Studio is a wonderful, stone-built cottage beside the owners' home, in the heart of Parwich, a charming village in the south of the Peak District National Park. The accommodation is mostly set over the ground floor, comprising an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner. There is also a shower room and on the mezzanine level, there is a king-size double bedroom overlooking the sitting area. Outside, enjoy alfresco dining in the private, lawned garden to the rear of the property. You will also find off road parking for one car. With great walking and cycling opportunities nearby, The Studio is a wonderful, romantic retreat for couples seeking a relaxed getaway exploring this fabulous area. The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Lawned garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Mezzanine bedroom accessed directly from stairs and has a sloped ceiling. Note: Babes-in-arms only.

Surrounded by lush green countryside, Parwich is a charming village which dates back to Saxon times. It has a picturesque old church, village green, a country pub and a village hall. The area is a delight for cyclists and walkers, with the nearby Manifold Trail, a tarmac path that follows the old Leek to Manifold light railway, providing the perfect opportunity to explore the countryside. The route has been open since the 1930s, when the railway closed, and was probably the first disused railway to be utilised in this way. Nearby are the lovely villages of Alstonefield, Ilam and Brassington, and activities such as golf, horse riding and sailing are all within a seven mile radius. Chatsworth House and Carsington Waters are also close by, making Parwich a great base for a family holiday.

"My wife and I had this lovely cottage for a long weekend without the kids. the village is a nice little remote village without mobile signal which is just wahat we wanted. The accommodation is spot on and all things ahve been considered. The owners Tracey_Ann and Simon have done a cracking job and are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The local pub served good food and good beer with a relaxed atmosphere, all locals were friendly and spoke to us. We will be returning for another weekend in the future definitely."
