Overview
This detached log cabin at Pentney Lakes sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x double with Jack-and-Jill access to bathroom, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Mezzanine landing area with sofa bed.
Tamaura Lodge is a detached cabin in an area of parkland and lakes, ideal for a restful break. The cabin has a ground floor double room with en-suite, and upstairs, a further double room with Jack-and-Jill access to the family bathroom, as well as a twin room and spacious landing. The living area is open plan and leads out to a spacious deck and enclosed garden. There is off road parking for 4 cars. Tamaura Lodge makes an ideal year-round break. Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways, East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

Gas range cooker with oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, shared tumble dryer available for a small charge, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Off road parking for 4 cars. Enclosed garden and decked area with furniture. Children's play area. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. On-site bar open Thursday to Sunday during the evenings. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: First floor bedrooms have sloping ceilings. Note: The owner runs yoga classes, which need to be booked at additional cost in advance with the owner. Note: Coarse fishing available on-site, please bring own equipment.

Pentney is a small Norfolk village near King's Lynn and Swaffham. Pentney has a shop and pub, and there is plenty of history in this area, from the 12th century priory in Pentney to the Roman kilns found locally and the ruins of a Norman castle in nearby Castle Acre. Head to the coast, explore the countryside or meander the streets of the region's villages or towns.

"We have recently spent a lovely few days at Tamaura Lodge and it was simply amazing! The beautiful, peaceful setting really does allow you to escape the demands of every day life. The lodge is so spacious inside yet so cosy. As a family of 5 our children loved having their own space upstairs, with a lovely seating area on the landing. Similarly, there is plenty of outside space which is totally safe and enclosed. This was a blessing for our toddler as she loved having the freedom to investigate her new surroundings. We very much enjoyed eating outside as we were blessed with glorious weather and plenty of seating was provided. The lodge is so clean and the large shower in the downstairs onsuite was a godsend for showering our little one. There is a park only a few minutes away which kept our toddler very happy and the clubhouse has a pool table, which our teenagers loved. Everyone we met was so friendly and made our stay a very welcome one. It was the perfect location for walks through the forest and you are so close to the seaside, so we had to visit! The owners Colin and Tanya are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again, only next time I will be looking to fit in a bit of yoga with Tanya! Thank you both for an amazing stay... We loved every minute and so did our children. We felt like we were in a bubble that we would love to revisit very soon!"
"the lodge was clean, spacious and had everything one needs. The garden had lots of room, it was well looked after and very secure, if you have a dog or small children they can't get out. the position of the lodge is very private and quiet. The decking is huge and partly covered just in case it rains we were lucky and had glorious weather. There are lovely walks next to the lakes and through the woods if you like nature you will love it. The hosts Colin and Tanya are lovely people they were very friendly and looked after us really well. I can honestly say I could find no negatives. We would recommend this property and will certainly be going back again."
"I spent the weekend at Tamaura Lodge and my face filled with a smile as I drive up to the lodge, passing the park ... which made my daughter smile as it was about a minute from the lodge front door. Two onsuite rooms one with a roll top bath perfect for a larger bloke like me to sink in to. The large decking certainly got used to the max with as much time in the sun as possible for food, relaxing and just because we could (in between playing in the park and going to seaside and .....) This is a perfect escape and near enough to the seaside (about 20 mins) and far enough to be quiet if thats needed!. Just a great weekend with so many memories made ?"
