Outside is parking for two cars, and the river and amenities of the town are on the doorstep. From The Old Sawmill, Chatsworth House, Buxton and beyond are easily accessed, making this a wonderful base for couples or friends, whatever the time of year. The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Note: Spiral staircase to mezzanine.

An attractive little market town retaining a delightful rural atmosphere and offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as frequent local farmers' markets.

"The Apartment was great with Fantastic views over looking the river from the living room window and the location is excellent with the town centre only being a stones throw away. The owner left milk in the fridge and biscuits on the side for our arrival which was lovely gesture. There's plenty of walks in the area and loads to see and do nearby. Another set of keys would of been useful as my partner had to stay in when I popped out as I wouldn't of been able to get back in. I would definitely recommend this Apartment x"
"We have stayed for Christmas week 2016. Lots of food/drink/walk options from our doorstep. Didn't get in the car for 4 days after arriving! Very spacious, comfortable, practical accommodation for friends/family groups. Sharing one bathroom was no problem. We had hoped there would be some Christmas decorations but not too disappointed that there weren't. "

"The apartment is very central in a beautiful village. It is very comfortable and clean. The beds are that comfy you don't want to get up. There's a beautiful view from the lounge windows and it's only a two minute walk into the village. It isn't suitable for disabled people if they can't do stairs as it's on the first floor. We would certainly stay here again. There are a few things that would make it perfect... 1. A pint of milk would be a lovely extra, especially when travelling from afar 2. A better toaster with four slots as it's a real bind with only two especially if six people are staying 3. A list of important things eg local doctors, dentist, days bins go, recycling, etc is very important Another key would be great as if there are six people not everyone goes out together All in all though a lovely apartment and as we've said would love to come again"
