"My husband and I Stayed here with our 2 Tibetan terriers for the week . It has to be the most well equipped and welcoming house we have stayed in . Lots of thought and attention to detail has gone in to make it an excellent rental property . Perfect for the dogs who even got their own little welcome pack and a safe garden for them to be out in . The area is very peaceful and the location of Ireby makes it a perfect base to explore the area from. We have been coming to Northumberland at this time of year to visit our daughter at uni in Newcastle for the past 5 years I only wish we had Come across Ireby sooner !! Can't recommend Ireby highly enough, especially if you have dogs, there are so many places they are welcome locally as well as amazing beaches a short drive away ."

"I stayed here with my dog so that I could visit my family. The bungalow is superbly equipped, the best I have ever stayed in. There were even toys for my grandchildren to play with. Morpeth is a beautiful town and it is so well placed to visit the coast, National Trust Houses and to walk along the river. My dog and I covered miles every day. I booked for a fortnight but while I was there a cancellation came up so I came back for a third week. The garden was perfect for my golden retriever and the patio was great for sitting outside."

"We stayed for a week at Ireby House, it is a nice two bedroom attached cottage, with adequate off road parking in front of the cottage. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you will need and a good large sized freezer. The utility room functions as a wash room with tumble dryer and washing machine and large sink, and an area for two medium sized dogs. Bathrooms are functional. The sitting areas are zoned into three , one at the front of the house, and the main living room and sunroom at the rear, well appointed and comfortable, the WiFi is good and child friendly. The surrounding garden is well fenced in so is child friendly, and west facing so catches the sun in the evening. This was a good rental for us and with no worry of a winter access as it is close to Morpeth and the A1, plenty of good restaurants near by and direct access 15 to 20 mins to the beaches at Blyth and the beaches further North"

"Not sure I really want to give away how great this place is, but the owners deserve full credit for what they have done here. Everything about the place is of the highest quality, tastefully decorated, spacious, well-equipped, clean. The garden is perfectly secure for children and dogs, it is set in a quiet location but close to the A1 so easy access to all attractions. An additional bonus is the wet room, so there are 2 bathrooms and being a bungalow everything is on one level so ideal for people with mobility problems too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ireby for a fantastic break. We hope to be back soon!"
