"A comfortable ground floor cottage which had a double, en suite, room and a twin room plus full bathroom. A comfortable sitting room with small fitted kitchen which had all the amenities we needed. One private parking space right outside and a guest car park a few yards away. An ideal base for touring the wonderful Western Highlands region of Scotland with its magestic mountains, peaceful lochs and magnificent castles. Well stocked Co-op just along the main road and a very good small restaurant - The Letterbox - within walking distance. Excellent food but do book in advance. Would be very happy to stay there again."

"lovely, warm and clean accommodation. one spacious double with en suite and a small twin with family bathroom. lounge area was a little cramped when dining table was extended to seat all 4 of us, but this didn't detract from a comfortable stay. The village of Newtonmore is lovely and quiet, but there are plenty of activities nearby, from the riding stables, Highland Wildlife Park and working sheepdogs to adventure activities at Rothiemurchas, skiing or walking up the Cairngorm and water sports at Loch Insh."

"Warm and comfortable with everything you need for a week away. There is a large hall & cupboard with a lino floor, ideal for drying wet gear. The main bedroom is a good size with lots of storage space and an en-suite. There is also a second bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with all the sort of items that are often not provided, but always needed such as washing up liquid, cloths, sponges, kitchen roll, towels, tea towels, cling film, bin bags, hand soap, salt, pepper etc.. This made our stay really feel like a home from home. The bed and lounge were warm and comfortable. Although the building is just off the main road it is exceptionally quiet and has great views all around. It is close enough to walk into Newtonmore for all the necessary facilities, including a well stocked Co-op."

"The property is excellent for a highlands holiday experience. The directions & key allocation were very good. the property was well equipt, clean & comforable. Newtonmore is a lovely village with a nice pub in easy walking distance with good food. The sorrounding area is very pictruesque with a geat museume just on the other side of the village. Locheness is about 40 miles away with loads to see & do. The small town of Fort agusta is well worth a visit the canal & loches are lovely."

"We stayed here for one week and really enjoyed the relaxing time, it was well situated for walking into Newtonmore, for Church, shops etc.and for getting over to aviemore for walking around Loch Morlich, and into the Cairngorms We all liked the cleanliness and obviously well cared for accommodation, only hiccup was the TV which didnt have a dvd,and had high pitched noise which was quite frustrating. We would be happy to return again though"
