The Shed is a stone and brick built detached barn conversion, set on a working beef and sheep farm on the edge of the village of Coxhoe just six 6 miles from Durham. Boasting four bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities) and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to eight people in style. The rest of the accommodation includes a fitted kitchen, a dining room with a snug and a sitting room. Outside the cottage are a patio and garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue, as well as plenty of off road parking. Situated close to major roads, The Shed is an ideal base for discovering this fascinating part of the country. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Fuel & power inc. in rent, Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Travel cot & highchair. Ample off road parking. Spacious patio & garden with furniture & BBQ. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop & pubs 10 mins walk. Note: Some traffic noise from the A1(M) is audible from the garden.

The village of Coxhoe is six miles from Durham. There are pubs and shops within the village, which is in an ideal location for exploring the beauty of the north east of England,with the coast 17 miles away and the moors 23 miles away. There are lots of visitor attractions in the area, such as Durham Cathedral and Castle and Beamish Open Air Museum.
