Set on a working dairy farm, this terraced cottage close to Kilmore Quay in County Wexford can accommodate three people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living accommodation with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Separate utility room with tumble dryer.
One of a handful of properties on the farm, this mid-terraced cottage is extremely suitable as a base for a couple or small family alike. The bedrooms, a double and a single, are comfortable, while the open plan living area is cosy and well-equipped. The bedrooms upstairs benefit from views towards the sea and the Saltee Islands, a wonderfully welcome reminder that you are on your well-deserved Irish holiday! Kilmore Quay, the quaint fishing village, is around a mile away from the cottage, and has shops and pubs, as well as angling opportunities. Known as the "Sunny South East", the counties of Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, and Tipperary offer everything you could need for a dream holiday in Ireland. Miles of sandy beach and scenic drives taking in mountains and coast are on your doorstep.

Kilmore Quay in County Wexford is a fishing village, small in size but big on character. The village is known for its thatched, whitewashed cottages and impressive marina, and is also an established angling centre, with the annual Seafood Festival a delicious showcase for the many successful 'catches'! Divers will enjoy the coast between Camsore Point to Hook Head, where the sea contains the wrecks of many ships. There are lovely sandy beaches within an easy drive of Kilmore Quay, some beautiful walks and nature-spotting opportunities can be found throughout this wonderful area.

"Tuskar Cottage is one of a row of 5 cottages at Mill Road Farm in Kilmore Quay, County Wexford. Comfortably furnished for 3 people with all appliances necessary for a self catering holiday with the bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine and free wifi, almost essential for a gaming 9 year old. Our stay started off well with a plate of fresh scones waiting on our arrival. Although the farmyard is right behind the cottages there was no noise and the farmer was happy for us to watch milking time when we asked. The cottage is located very conveniently for Kilmore Quay, just a mile or two from the harbour full of fishing boats and the village is very pretty with thatched and whitewashed cottages, several places to eat and small shop for self catering. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Recommend a visit to the Saltees Island by boat to view the sea bird nesting colonies and spectacular views but to be aware of limited numbers allowed each day. Recommend this cottage for a summer or winter break as fitted with central heating for colder seasons, would return for another break if we were travelling this part of Ireland again."
