Beautifully furnished and with stunning views, this cottage boasts three bedrooms able to sleep a total of six people, whilst the cosy sitting room with inviting open fire and spacious kitchen with dining area provide a comfortable living space. Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin with TV, 1 x bunks. Bathroom with bath with shower over, Heated towel rail, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC with heated towel rail. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with open fire. Hall.

Electric Thermostatically controlled radiators with open fire in sitting room.Heated towel rails in the bathroom and downstairs toilet. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 1 x Smart TV, 1 x TV with Freeview, radio, CD player, WiFi. Power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for three cars. Small open sitting area 15 metres to rear of property with garden furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome, to be kept on a lead when in outdoor sitting area. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pub 2 mins walk. Note: The cottage is quite close to main through road and some traffic noise is audible at peak times.

The pretty village of Coniston is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lake District National Park. Nestling at the head of Coniston Water, this village makes a superb touring base with Ambleside, Hawkshead and Windermere just a short drive away. The wider area has some of the country's best walking, mountain biking and climbing spots. All of these activities can be tried locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, or through the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. With the lake near by, water sports enthusiasts can enjoy dinghy sailing and canoeing, or if you're in the mood for something a little more relaxed, visitors can enjoy a leisurely cruise on the beautiful steam yacht 'Gondola'. Beatrix Potter Gallery, Tarn Hows and the award winning village of Hawkshead are all close by making this an exciting, varied location.

"This is a very tidy well equipped cottage virtually in the centre of the village. The house is warm & cosy and the beds are comfortable. The only drawback is it says sleeps 6. I would suggest that this would be ok for 4 adults & 2 children, given one of the rooms has bunk beds and only one bathroom, it does not suit 6 adults. The kitchen is also a little small for 6 adults to eat together."
"The location in the heart of Coniston is ideal.All shops,pubs and cafes are a 5 minute walk away.Coniston is also great for exploring the rest of the Lake District.The property is well equipped all round with good tv,Wi-Fi and cell phone reception. Also has off road parking at the rear. A repeat visit is planned."
"The was a great property within easy walking distance to the centre of the village, and the takeaway / chip shop on the corner for rainy nights. The rooms were well furnished comfortable with plenty of built in storage in the bedrooms. There was a large area to park behind the houses but getting back onto the road from between the buildings was quite tight with a blindspot to the main road and the only real downside to the stay."

"House was in a good location, close to local shops etc Excellent base for all our walking needs We were able to take a dog without extra charge all equipment in the house was good and plenty of everything Excellent value for money Only one downside for a family would be comfortable seating in lounge really only for 4 adults and the house can take 6. Would be ideal for 4 adults and 2 children"
"We enjoyed our stay at Low House. The cottage was clean with a good amount of space. One thing that could improve things would be to provide a travel cot and highchair, we had to take ours and it was a squeeze in the car. I think this would put me off booking somewhere that doesn't provide these in future."
