The small market town of Wirksworth is situated near Matlock on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Wirksworth has many buildings of architectural interest, including its magnificent parish church, plus nearby is Carsington Water, Black Rocks and the High Peak Trail. Beautiful Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Matlock Bath are also all within easy reach.
