Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. From the Cornish, meaning 'Frog Pool', Polyphant is close to the convergence of the River Inny and Penpont Water and is surrounded by miles of stunning countryside. Cornwall is a very temperate region of the UK and the beaches are very popular for surfing and other water-sports. The beaches of the north coast are just 14 miles away and also bring you into close proximity to attractions such as the world-famous Eden Project and the Victorian discovery, the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A few miles west of Polyphant, you can take in the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor with its granite tors, walking opportunities and secluded moor-land villages. The Camel Route, a famous cycling and walking trail is just minutes from here.

"Have stayed in the Wagon House a few times. Lovely double & single bedrooms upstairs with shower room. Everything you need in the kitchen & cosy lounge with big window, also has sofa bed. Lovely big garden with pond, large patio & conservatory. Great for gathering for drinks/bbq if you have friends in the adjoining Shippon & Granary cottages."
"We found the property central to the area we wanted to visit. It was well set out and very quiet. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked a lot for ourselves. We spent most of the time out touring as it was not far from the coast or the moors, but when at the property it was comfortable and had all we needed."
"My husband and I stayed here for a week recently, and had a fabulous time. This lovely quiet retreat is now under new ownership, and the four houses have all been recently updated. Ours was clean, comfortable, cosy, and had all the facilities we needed. It also had a nice patio and garden which would be really useful during the nicer weather! Excellent location, close to Launceston and ideal for all the sights of Cornwall. There is also a decent pub not too far away, I would guess a mile or so. We'll be back!"
