"Stayed here for three nights (7of us) The house was stunning. A little difficult to find at first as we arrived after dark. But there was nothing that we were short of. It was clean, very functional and we enjoyed our stay there. All the rooms were lovely and comfy. Was very cold and icy in the mornings and evening but lovely and warm inside. Would definitely recommend "

"We bought a weeks accommodation at The Granary just outside Jedburgh at a charity event and was delighted with the house. Very well equipped kitchen, two living areas with lots of board games to play with the family. Beds were very comfy and kids loved the jacuzzi bath. Added bonus of a pool table and table tennis table in an outhouse. A huge garden which was very well maintained. We had a glorious week weather wise and barbecued quite a bit (bbq provided). We took our dog with us and garden was fully enclosed. Jedburgh swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids and staff very friendly. Visited Coldingham beach which was a gorgeous beach then went to Eyemouth the same day to go on a Rib boat excursion. This was fantastic and worth while doing. Harestanes park was great for the kids with a lot of things to do in it. Cafe there was ok. Also spent the day at Dalkeith park which was stunning. Great park for the kids and a stroll in the stream before we left as the weather was fantastic. Melrose and Kelso are both lovely towns. All in all a great holiday in the borders and would recommend The Granary."

"Need a place to hold eight people in southern Scotland? The Granary is it. We were a party of seven who used The Granary as our HQ to tour the Border Marches over seven days. The house has every amenity: fully kitchen with dishes and appliances and utensils, two living areas each with a TV, board games, a Wii, books to read, several outdoor sitting areas, a (mini) pool table and other features. Very clean and well-maintained and situated about a mile from Jedburgh proper."

"I spent a long weekend with my husband, two sons, daughter in law, fiancee and granddaughter aged 7 and our granddog Rocco in March. This was a Christmas present from the family to my husband and me. The weekend was most enjoyable. The house is absolutely fantastic, everything is provided. There were three chests full of games and toys in my granddaughter's bedroom; loads of CDs, games for the Wi; almost a library of books! The property was spotless. We had a welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, chocolates and even a bottle of wine. In the warmer months there are loads of decked areas where one can sit and enjoy the sun . Chinese food was delivered from Kelso; Sainsbury's is also in Kelso. We visited Mary Queen of Scots House, Abbotsford House and on the way home we popped into Rosslyn Chapel. My granddaughter certainly had a history lesson! The restaurant - Carters Rest - produced an exceptionally good meal. Very big helpings. Pleasant and helpful staff. Would recommend it."

"Stayed at the Granary with family and friends over the Easter break. This is a lovely property, in a good location, with gorgeous views. Everything you need is provided, linen, towels, crockery, cutlery and a lovely welcome pack. The property is super cosy even though it is a large property. Lots of space inside and out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very good sizes. Great walks in the area and good attractions in the in the town, which you can walk to if you dont mind the uphill walk on the way back! The owner is very helpful. Great Chinese takeaway in Jedburgh as well."

"Booked this for a 'get together/ hen party', for a friends forthcoming wedding in December and it was ideal. The house is beautiful, large and spacious and absolutely immaculate, with lovely attention to detail, and everything you could want or need, and being near Christmas had been decorated for the festive season. The setting is superb, in a quiet location with stunning views across the Borders countryside. The owner had left a lovely welcome pack in the fridge and also wine and chocolates. We had a wonderful relaxing time and I would definately recommend 'The Granary' for a large group/ family, you wont be disappointed."

"The party was made up of 4 adults - 3 family and 1 friend. The house is perfection. The only thing we meant to mention before we left - and promptly forgot - was to tell the owner that the DVD player in the lounge plays only in black and white, something she couldn't possibly have been expected to know. Everything was spotless and superbly comfortable. We cannot rate it highly enough. Sorry we forgot to write in the Visitors' Book. We want to come back."

"We stayed here on a fishing trip to the R Tweed and were delighted we did. The views from the house are superb, as it is high up a hill, but despite the bracing surroundings it was very warm and cosy, even on nights when there was a heavy frost. The house is very well equipped with a big kitchen and is a perfect place to relax, yet the cost was reasonable. The owners, who live not far away- always a plus point, in our experience- are very friendly and helpful. We can thoroughly recommend The Granary to those wishing to stay in that area"

"This accommodation was excellent, the owner met us and was so friendly. There was lots of board games for us to play in the evening. Although the house was in the country, it was about a 10 minute drive from the town, where there was shops and restaurants and take-aways. The peace and quiet was much enjoyed, after being used to the noise of the traffic back home."

"This is just the most wonderful holiday home. Everywhere was spotless. The whole house was fully equipped with everything you would need. There was wine, bread, milk and butter left for us. Flowers all over the house and we were able to dig potatoes from the garden. There was so much space! The views were super and we went on many walks. Jedburgh has so much to offer. We would like to have another holiday in this accomodation."

"This spacious beautifully furnished and equipped property was our base when we attended a wedding nearby. We were delighted when we arrived and it really was just like someone's home and we were welcome. We were 3 generations from 27 to 84 and everyone rated it our best ever rental. We loved the Borders and there was plenty to do. The best thing was the comfort and quality of the accommodation. Our daughter is trying to arrange a visit to Jedburgh with her friends just so they can rent The Granary."

"Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) stayed at this superb cottage in October 2012.It is in a secluded hilly area and has stunning views of Jedburgh. The owner unexpectedly left us a number of items including wine, milk and bread, which was a lovely touch. The cottage was massive and accommodated our 2 families adequately. We rarely heard the kids playing upstairs with the toys Theyd found. The tumble dryer/washing machine and dishwasher made our stay a lot easier, and we went home with no washing!! The garden was amazing and would look even better in the summer. I have recommended the cottage to several friends and families. We will definitely return again in the future."
