"This stunning barn has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location of the property is good for seeing locations in mid Wales, and there is a supermarket within a few minutes drive. The owners of the property were very helpful, and on hand to answer any questions. All in all great place to stay for a relaxing holiday."

"I originally booked to stay at Ty Camlad in March 2018 but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to postpone my stay and I luckily rebooked to stay in August 2018. It was definitely worth the wait! At first I was disappointed to hear that the piano was no longer in the barn as I am a keen player but that disappointment soon went out the window when I arrived as this barn conversion is stunning. Alan and Sandra have done an amazing job at bringing the barn back to life. I especially enjoyed sitting by the big window of a morning with a cuppa. This is the perfect place to come and relax an it was just what I need. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. "

"The barn far exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and well equipped. The underfloor heating, Woodburning stove and electric AGA ensured the barn was always comfortably warm, in spite of sub zero temperatures and six inches of snow outside. Alan and Sandra are delightful hosts. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby Shropshire Hills."

"Stayed here in February with my partner. The location is great as near a main road with good connections to North Wales and Shropshire. The barn itself is stunning, I loved how the owners have kept the character of the barn. It has a range oven which I had not used before, still prefer my electric oven not a convert. It wasn't the warmest of places, but then there is a huge room to heat. It does have a log burner which always makes it feel more cosy. The kitchen had all the things you would need There is a bath and shower, the bath is lovely however it takes a while for the water to heat up for the bath not the shower though (not sure why this is the case) the shower is hot and powerful. The owners were very lovely and gave tips and advice about walks and places to eat and happy to help with anything. We did get stuck in the snow and were towed by the owners tractor to the top of the road. Probably should have stayed another night as we got stuck in Hereford! All in all a great place to stay we will definitely return and hopeful with a dog next time Alan and Susan thankyou!"

"An amazing barn conversion . On our arrival Sandra showed us around and explained about the Aga stove etc . The barn was lovely and warm all the time we were here . Beautiful views across the Camlad valley . The light changes all the time . Alan can often be found with the two Corgis checking on the geese and sheep . Lovely place to relax in . We will definitely be back ."

"I attended this barn and had to leave a review as it was perfect. Clean, perfect location and a nice open plan kitchen / living space . cooking on the aga was great and Sandra and alan real should shout about it more as any wannabe aga owner ( myself) has a whole week to cook a range of meal on one. Sandra and alan where really friendly and have worked hard to make this place so nice , as they explain in a book about the barn conversion. . I love to know a bit about the history about the place im staying at.the local area has so much to see and Montgomery which is far away is a nice pretty town which has a great market .In Newtown town (the main town) there are something for anyone I attended the theatre which I really enjoyed."
