"My sister and I have just returned from spending a week in Skye staying in this wonderful cottage. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home and you sense this cottage is very much loved. The cottage is cosy, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped and has the best shower ever!! Beds are very comfortable and I slept like a log every night ( not my usual I might add). We had good weather so enjoyed sitting in the summer house in the evening in perfect peace watching the sun set over the loch and listening to the birds. The cottage is well situated for exploring beautiful Skye and its breathtaking scenery. We were sorry to be leaving 77/78 Aird but will definitely be back in the future to recharge our spirits and enjoy this perfect place. Thank you."

"This was a lovely little cottage outside of Portree. Well linked for the buses (only a mile walk) and good off-road parking for our car. Only 7 miles to a Co-Op as well. The little library room was an absolute treat, considering one day it was too stormy to do anything so we hid away in the library and played the board games and read books. The kitchen was really well stocked both in terms of basic cooking condiments and equipment and the view outside the kitchen window was amazing. Definitely plan on coming back in the late summer!"

"We comfortably slept and fed four happy adults here. Spotlessly clean, all the appliances work perfectly, and the strong wifi was extra convenient. Beautiful views, easy to get to everything on Skye, AND a gorgeous garden with sweet little summer house. Spacious kitchen that let us cook for family and friends. The sitting room with a grand selection of games and books (even children's books) was a special highlight. Excellent value. We highly recommend it and hope to stay here again."

"I stayed here in October 2015 with my husband and two little girls. The house was easy to find, had off-road parking and a pretty location on a small peninsula, giving loch views in both directions. There was no TV signal but we were aware of this from the information given, although there was a DVD player and the internet worked well for our laptop - but we hardly used either! There are many shelves of books, an absolutely wonderful range of subjects perfect for a lover of nature/art/history/Scotland/fiction. (Me!) The girls learnt to play chess and other games, and it did us all good to have a break from the usual routine. The house was comfortable and very cosy in the horribly noisy storm which battered us for two nights, and the bathroom and kitchen large and well equipped. The location is quite far north on Skye and we found that in a week, driving around and doing several walks, we were only able to fully explore from about Sligachan and above - very thoroughly, mind you! Skye is bigger than I remember from 30 years ago..... We had some beautiful weather, some awful weather and storms, but we enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of information in the cottage about places to go, but we did a bit of research beforehand. I would certainly come here again, my only comment being that after a hard day's walking, I did find myself wishing that the cottage had a bath! The shower was great, but I'm sure you know what I mean. We need to come back to Skye soon!"

"My husband and I spent a week in this cottage in early summer. The cottage is secluded enough to enjoy total peace and quiet but within easy driving distance of Portree for the essentials such as shopping. The cottage is very well set up with everything you could need for your stay, lovely, cosy and comfortable, and the garden is beautiful. There is also good off road parking for the car. The owner communicated all the details we needed, plus lots of extra hints and tips, in plenty of time for our visit and there was a file of local information in the cottage. The surrounding area is stunning, as is the whole of Skye. I would highly recommend this cottage, I will defiantly be booking this again. Additional tip for anyone with a gluten intolerance - the local co-op as you drive into Portree stocks a small collection of free-from goods, and the Skye bakery (on the same road into Portree, just before the co-op) is an absolute must, it does the best gluten free bread I have ever tasted."

"We stayed here on the week of 23rd Feb for some rest & recuperation time and it was ideal. The cottage is about 8 miles North west of Portree, in the direction of Uig and Bernisdale, on the banks of Loch Snizort. It has a very well equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, second fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and dryer, all in perfect condition and all the pots, pans, plates and cutlery you could ever need. There are two very comfortable living rooms, one more homely in style, with wood panelled walls and a huge library wall and a second more modern decorated room with a large dresser and with a large corner sofa and wall lights, ideal for lounging and reading. There are two bedrooms upstairs, which are compact, but plenty big enough with more than adequate storage and fantastic views of the Loch and the rear garden; one double and now twin. There is no TV reception here or mobile signal, which we knew beforehand and wasn't an issue. There is BT Broadband of roughly 1.5-2Mb download speed which provides good service for using your mobile phone over the internet (using Tu Go app on O2 or Three in Touch on Three Mobile) which let us stay in touch with friends and family and more importantly means they can call you if needed. We could also watch iPlayer on our iPads perfectly well, but this is modest in terms of broadband. If you have many people in your group wanting to use devices, you'll get poorer service. Walking a short distance from the house to the main road gave a very good mobile signal on Three and O2."
