"Spent a week in this comfortable and well located cottage in the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Tanya the owner was so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage and would love to stay again. "

"Spent 3 nights in this gorgeous cottage with all modern fixtures and fittings in excellent condition. It's very spacious and spotlessly clean with some lovely special touches, such as the romantic lighting, the bottle of wine chilling in the fridge on our arrival and the great selection of DVD's for a cosy night in. Located in the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog with all the important amenities nearby, including a friendly pub, restaurants, take-aways, supermarket and the famous station, all only minutes away on foot, but also quiet at night for a good night's sleep. Add the lovely private garden, the free Wifi, the free car parking immediately outside and the very friendly and welcoming owner on hand if there are any problems, this is a great find. I'd highly recommend it."

"What a find!!! Don't hesitate, this is a lovely place to stay for a view of North Wales. What a friendly place. Good pubs, people, food and all dog friendly. Sally dog was in heaven. Many, many thanks to Tanya who made it so special with a warm welcome. We will most definitely be back."

"A very warm welcome by the owner, she was very helpful. lots of information on things to do in the area. The cottage had everything you need and more, we was welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates for my daughter. The bed is huge, fresh towels, loads of DVD to watch. the garden was enclosed so the dog can run about. Very clean and perfect for a romantic getaway or a base to explore wales/ snowdonia. There was wi-fi but it is hard to connect to. the bathroom has only got a shower no bath. would suit a family but there is only a king size bed however i was offered extra quilts if my daughter wanted to sleep on the sofa. Dogs welcome"

"Bamboo Place suited our needs perfectly. The cottage was clean, warm and whilst not "cosy" in traditional sense we felt very comfortable. It is lacking views but you only have to step out of door to see the slate quarries and hills surrounding you and hearing the narrow gauge steam engines and seeing the smoke as they virtually puff past your door more than makes up for sitting in looking out a window! We arrived in a thunderstorm but were still greeted outside and shown where to go etc. Bread, butter and milk, tea and coffee etc were provided and local shops short stroll up high street with plenty of choice to see you through the week and beyond. Car park is adjacent property but we were not disturbed at any time. Unfortunately due to full days out did not sample local pubs but had couple of chats with "happy" locals stood outside while walking at night and have to say Blaenau Ffestiniog a lovely town whether by day or by night. The only points that could be considered non positive: Steep slope to access that can get slippy when wet but its the nature of topography and location, take care and its not really an issue. I advise you to go out for ten minutes if you put waashing on, very quiet until it spins then it takes floor with it lol all in all fully recommended. If you like the outdoors or just want to explore this area of Wales its a great base. Note Rental Personality extremely difficult to tick as each to their own and I haven't ticked family as its one bedroom with double bed!"
