The ancient town of Dalton-in-Furness lies to the north east of Barrow-in-Furness, in a valley which extends deep into Morecambe Bay. The town offers a selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as some interesting buildings which showcase the architecture of the town.

"Still reeling from the beauty of this house. Everything has been thought of, to ensure a perfect break for any family. We spent Christmas week here, and wish we were still there. On the outskirts of Urswick, a couple of miles from both Barrow and Ulverston, this place is perfect for a big family to just get away from it all, whilst still being close enough to town to buy supplies. The house is designed to allow the whole family to spend time together, whilst being big enough to allow some quiet time. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you could possibly need, and all fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard. We will be booking again, and we will be recommending to friends and family."
